Dance Offerings

At BAFA, we offer training in a variety of classical Indian and traditional Bangladeshi dance forms, providing students with a well-rounded and culturally rich dance education. Our classes cater to all skill levels and include the following styles:

  • Kathak: Experience the graceful and rhythmic storytelling of this North Indian classical dance form.

  • Bharatanatyam: Explore the ancient South Indian dance style, rich in expression, rhythm, and storytelling.

  • Odissi: Learn the elegant and fluid movements of Odissi, one of the oldest classical dance forms from Eastern India.

  • Rabindra Nritya: Study the dance style created by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, blending classical techniques with poetry and song.

  • Bangladeshi Folk Dance: Immerse yourself in the traditional dance forms of Bangladesh, expressing the country's rich cultural heritage.

In addition to year-round classes, students are regularly informed about opportunities for live performances, video recordings, and collaborative projects.
